ANS: The most famous festival in Bhutan is Paro festival and Thimphu festival. Paro festival in early spring and Thimphu in Autumn and exact date will be announced by the monk body after approval from the astrologer.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE TO ATTEND FESTIVAL?
Ans: Yes when you visit lhakhang and Dzong you need to wear full sleeve pants and shirt. No T shirt and half pant allowed. You need to take off your hats or sun glass while inside the Dzongs and monastery. Guide will brief you.
WHAT IS THE VISA FORMALITY FOR VISIT TO BHUTAN?
ANS: No embassy or agent abroad can process your Visa to visit Bhutan. Only local tour operator based in Bhutan can process your visa. For all international tour operator have to contact the local agent for the BHUTAN VISA.
