Day 01: Arrival in Paro (2,280 m) – Transfer to Thimphu (2,334 m) Distance: 55 km | Driving Time: 1–1.5 Hours
Arrival Paro airport for 5 days Bhutan Tour

Arrive at Paro International Airport and meet your guide before driving to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. En route, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang and enjoy views of the traditional iron bridge. In Thimphu, visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue, Memorial Chorten, and Tashichho Dzong before exploring the local handicraft market. Overnight in Thimphu.

Dochula Pass with 108 memorial chortens, colorful prayer flags, and panoramic Himalayan mountain views in Bhutan.

After breakfast, drive over the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100 m), offering panoramic Himalayan views on clear days. Continue to Punakha and visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, followed by a walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge. If time permits, hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the famous Fertility Temple. Overnight in Punakha.
