Trek Over View:
Lamayuru Alchi Trek is a 6 days Trek in Ladakh. This six-day trek is a great opportunity to discover remote villages and dramatic landscapes of Ladakh. There are two long and difficult days when crossing the mountains but you will make it. Trek is one of the remote and most beautiful routes in the Himalayas.

3 Hours Before Flight Time

Pay heed to tour leaders or instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound experience.

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport you may proceed to the hotel pre-booked for you. Check into the hotel and relax. The day is at leisure and you can explore the locality and the markets along with it. Retire to the hotel for the night. Stay there for the night.
Go for sightseeing and explore Old and New Delhi. Visit the Red Fort, Gandhi Memorial – Rajghat, India Gate, Qutub Minar group of monuments and Humayun’s Tomb. Return to the hotel for the night. Overnight stay.
Move to Delhi Airport and board a flight to Leh. Leh is about 1 hour 20 minutes flight from Delhi. The flight is most amazing flight with great views of Himalayas. Upon arrival Check into the hotel pre-booked for you in Leh. Take rest for the day. You can also enjoy the local cuisine there. Return to the hotel for the night. Over night at Hotel.
Visit the Sankar Gompa and the Shanti Stupa. Sankar Gompa or Sankar Monastery is a beautiful Buddhist monastery located 6 km from Leh. Traditionally believed to be a subsidiary of Spituk Monastery, it serves as the residence of the Abbot of Spituk, the senior incarnate lama of Ladakh, making it an important religious site. The main attraction is the statue of Avalokitesvara with 1000 arms and heads.
Also visit the Tsemo castle to have a view of the old Leh valley. Thereafter, visit the vibrant local bazaars and buy traditional artifacts. Retire to the hotel for the night.
We would drive to Hemis from Leh and on the way take a stopover at Shey and Thiksey Monastery. Hemis Monastery is a Himalayan Buddhist monastery (gompa) of the Drukpa Lineage, in Hemis, Ladakh, India. Situated 45 km from Leh. The Shey monastery is near the Indus valley and is very beautiful. The monastery has its own charm. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Drive to Lamayuru today.Lamayuru or Yuru Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Lamayouro, Leh district, Ladakh, India. It is situated on the Srinagar-Leh highway 15.
Take a stopover and visit the Saspol village and Basgo and Rizong monastery. Visit the saspol village and explore the caves as you visit the statues of Buddha. Later you can visit the Basgo monastery. Visit the Rizong monastery. Retire to Lamayuru today.
Trek to Upshi today. Follow the dry stream and trek to Prinkti La. Your trek would now descend to Upshi. Return to the campsite and stay for the night in the tent.

Head upstream to Fanjila, and after trekking for almost 2 hours we would reach a group of houses at Hanle. Trek to Alchi by trekking to Ripchar valley. Also cross the Pechora River during your trek. Hanle would be the destination of your today’s trek.
Proceed your trek towards the valley as it is upstream. Enjoy a view of Prinkti La and have a majestic view. Stay at the base of Chokila and camp here. Stay at the camp for the night.
After early breakfast we begin our trek to Sumdah. We would take a halt at a village at Gompa which is inhabited by only two monks. Trek to a Gompa a Tibetan monastery situated at the base of Sumdah. Camp here for the night.
Start your trek to the valley. You will find a small uneven but flat area behind the huts which can be used as a camping spot. Reach to the other side of Stokpila and here you will have a view of Tamisgam Trek. Camp at Stokpila today.
Start your trek which is going to take 4-5 hours and reach the village monastery at Alchi. This is a famous low lying Gompa. The accommodation facilities and its closeness to Likir and saspol is one of the reasons why trekkers halt at Alchi. Check in to the guest house here.
We would drive to Leh today. Visit the various attractions of Alchi and Basgo here and the Alchi monastery. Visit Choskar which is an important center of Buddhist ancient art. Retire to the hotel pre-booked for you.
