Our Honeymoon tour guide will greet you with khaddar at Paro airport. Your will drive to Thimphu and check into Hotel Le Meridian. We will not prepare any program for you and you are free to move around Thimphu city which is just 10 minute’s walk from your Hotel. It is suggested that you have a good rest at the hotel for the remaining time of the day to acclimate to the high altitude in case of acute mountain sickness.

Your day begins with a visit to the Royal Textile museam located near the National Library of Bhutan. It is operated by the National Commission for Cultural Affairs. The museum also envisions becoming the centre for textile studies and research. The museam has antique textile artefacts, exclusive to Bhutan. The Museam is a Perfect place to explore as a honeymoon couple. In the afternoon visit the Craft bazaar where you can buy the traditional Bhutanese dress or souvenirs. In the evening at the Hotel. In Thimphu, you can also attend the grand Thimphu festival in the autumn season.

Your tour starts with a visit to Dochula Pass where you can view the snowcapped Himalayan Ranges on a clear day. It’s rather romantic to get the selfies with Himalayan Mountain in the background scene. Further drive to Chimi Lhakhang also called Fertility temple. Phobjikha is just 3 hour drive from Punakha. It’s colder than Punakha and you might consider wearing warm jackets. After a relaxed breakfast walk around the phobjikha valley, talk with locals, and visit the famous Gangtye monastery. Evening at Hotel.

Paro is one of the fertile valleys in western Bhutan and is the only district with an International airport in the country. Visit the famous Drugyel Dzong also called the victory Dzong. In the early 1950s, Drukgyal Dzong was almost destroyed by fire. It is listed as a tentative site in Bhutan’s List for UNESCO inclusion. On the way back visit the 6th-century Kichu temple. Overnight at Hotel. Also, attend the Spring Festival of Paro if your date of travel coincides with the festival.

Your impressive excursion to the splendid Tiger Nest Temple is scheduled in the morning. Originally built in the 16th century as a meditation cave, the temple experienced a 500-year constant visit until it was destroyed by fire on April 19, 1998. The reconstruction of the temple cost around 135 million ngultrums and was completed in 2005.
After lunch visit the Paro dzong followed by a cantilever wooden bridge. Evening at Hotel.
