Day 01Arrival at Lhasa Airport

Upon your arrival at Lhasa Gonggar Airport, our guide and driver will wait for you at the airport exit and will transfer you to the hotel to check-in. You will have a good rest to get accustomed to the high altitude and get prepared for your Nepal Tibet Bhutan tour in the afternoon.  Accommodation in Tashipozhang Hotel 

Day 2Lhasa City Tour

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and escort you to the Drepung Monastery. Built-in 1416, it is composed of many white buildings reclining against the hillside on a grand scale. Next, we will head for another famous temple called Sera Monastery to watch a great religious event – the furious debating over Buddhist texts. At about 3 pm, many monks wearing red robes will start the debate in an open ground. Their emphatic cadences and exaggerated body languages always attract a lot of tourists to stop by and watch. Later, a visit to Norbulingka Park will be included today for you to catch a vista of a beautiful botanical garden in Lhasa.

Day 03Lhasa City Tour

Today we will set out for the Potala Palace after breakfast. Upon arrival, you will be amazed at the Potala’s grandiose scale and pretty appearance. At a height of 3,767.19m (12,359.55ft), the Potala Palace mainly consists of white and red palaces and houses about seventy thousand cultural relics and a lot of rare gold, silver, and jewelry treasures for visitors’ appreciation. Afterward, we will appreciate the Rock Painting which reflects Tibetan culture. In the afternoon, we will take you to the Jokhang Temple, a Buddhist pilgrimage attracting abundant pilgrims daily. Outside the Jokhang Temple, the prosperous Barkhor Street and its nearby nunnery will be visited later.

Day 04Lhasa to Kathmandu Flight

Today, you will be escorted to the airport to catch the flight to Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, our local guide and driver will transfer you to check into the hotel and you will continue on with your Tibet Nepal Bhutan tour package.

After settling down, you will be accompanied to the distinguished Swayambhunath Stupa. Located on a mountaintop in the scenic Kathmandu valley, this stupa is also known as Monkey Temple, because about 3,000 lovely monkeys can be seen here along both sides of the stone steps to this pagoda. Later, get into the car to reach Kathmandu Durbar Square to appreciate many ancient buildings and well-decorated palaces and temples there.

Day 05Kathmandu - Bhaktapur - Patan - Kathmandu

In the morning, you will be guided to tour the Hindu Pashupatinath Temple and the bowl-shaped Boudhanath Stupa in succession. Afterward, we will go to Bhaktapur City to catch the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, an open-air museum containing plenty of palaces, pagodas, and temples, and the distinctive Dattatreya Temple by a private drive.  After lunch, we will drive to Patan to admire the remarkable art of the buildings in its Durbar Square. Next, we will go to see the gold-filled Golden Temple to conclude the day trip.

Day 06Kathmandu - Chandragiri Hill - Kathmandu

Today’s private Nepal tour begins with the beautiful Chandragiri Hill in the morning. Accompanied by our guide, you will board the round-trip cable car for the uphill jaunt after alighting from the vehicle. Viewing the rolling peaks and verdant forests under the telpher, you might feel like you are inside a pretty painting doodled with blue sky and white clouds as well as fine views. 

At about noon, you can have lunch at your own expense. Then you will be free to spend the rest of the day as you wish after returning to Kathmandu. In the evening, a hearty Nepalese dinner with an excellent dance show will be arranged in a fancy restaurant for you to enjoy.

Day 07Kathmandu - Paro - Thimphu Bhutan via flight.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Paro. After your arrival in Bhutan, the guide and driver will pick you up and drive for 1 hour to Thimphu. Along the way, you can have a nice glimpse at the unique Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridges alongside. 

We continue on to Thimphu to check into the hotel with the guide’s help. After some rest, you will be led to the National Memorial Chorten, a landmark of Thimphu to have a look, and the Buddha Dordenma Statue will be toured after that. Then, the national treasure Takin, with its sheep-like head and cow-like body, can be seen when you alight from our private car at Motithang Takin Preserve.

Day 08Thimphu - Punakha

Overlooking the Himalayas from Dochula Pass

This morning, we will head for General Post Office, and you can make a stamp with your own picture in this must-see site in Bhutan. Later, the Hand Made Paper Factory will await your visit.

After lunch, we will take a 3 hours drive to Punakha. En route, have a stopover at Dochula Pass, which provides a great platform for viewing the eastern stretches of the Himalayas. Next, we continue our car ride to the rustic Punakha Dzong (Fortress) encircled by mountains with fine surroundings. At last, pay a visit to the Wooden Suspension Bridge for sightseeing.

Day 09Punakha - Paro

In the morning, the quiet Rinchengang village will unveil today’s Bhutan tour package. Later, you will be driven to the distinctive Punakha Nunnery. Upon exiting the nunnery, our guide will lead you to hike through the beautiful terraced fields to the Fertility Temple for a panoramic view of the rural countryside of Punakha. 

After lunch, get into the car for around a 4-hour drive to Paro. After arriving, an exploration to Paro Dzong will enable you to enjoy the fascinating scenery of the Paro Valley over this mountaintop Buddhist temple. Next, you will be exposed to the cultural and religious relics inside the National Museum. Then the sacred Kichu Lhakhang (Temple) and a local farmhouse will be toured in succession. There is a popular Paro festival in Spring. If your tour coincides with the festival you can witness this festival

Day 10Paro Tiger Nest Hike

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to start a Tiger’s Nest (Paro Taktsang) trekking. Situated on the 914-meter (3,000-feet) high sheer cliffs in Paro Valley, the Tiger’s Nest is composed of four halls and some residential districts, which are constructed irregularly due to the precipitous terrain, thus seeming like a giant tiger climbing in the cliff. Besides, many figures of Buddha and exquisite frescos can be seen inside the temple after trekking. 

In the afternoon, after a visit Drukgyel Dzong, our guide will drive you to experience the natural scenery of Paro Town.
