Day 01Arrival Paro from your international destination:

Upon your arrival at Paro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide with a traditional khaddar greeting. En route to Thimphu, stop at the scenic Tachog Lhakhang for a brief visit. Upon reaching Thimphu, check in to your hotel for lunch and some rest. Originally founded as a meditation cave in the 16th century, this sacred site was visited for nearly 500 years before being damaged by fire on April 19, 1998. Extensive restoration efforts, costing around 135 million ngultrums, were completed in 2005 to restore its original beauty.

After lunch, explore the historic Paro Dzong and cross the traditional cantilever wooden bridge. In the evening, relax and unwind at your hotel.
