Day 01Arrival Paro from your international destination:

Paro to Thimphu: Your arrival at the airport will be greeted by our team from the company. Upon completing the Visa formalities you shall be briefed by our guide about the next-day tour program. Today we will not include any program. The first day is kept free for acclimatization and you are free to roam around Thimphu town.

Day 2Thimphu Takin Trail Hike at 2200m

 The day begins with 30 minutes hike towards the Takin trail starting from motithang public Gym. The endpoint of the path greets you with the Takin preservation center where Takin is kept on big land covering almost one-third of motithang area. The takin center was initially started as a mini zoo and has Himalayan bears, Mountain goat,s and many other animals. Later the zoo was expanded and only Takin is kept. Other animals were relocated in their original habitat.

Later in the afternoon visit Changangkha Lhakhang and ride the bicycle towards Bhudha dordenna. The biking trail starts from the temple and ends at Budha Statue at Kuenselphodrang. The riding time takes around 20 minutes through a beautiful pine forest. Visit the Largest standing Buddha overlooking Thimphu valley. Evening at Hotel.

Day 3Thimphu to Punakha

Thimphu to Punakha starts early and the drive takes you around 3 hours. Hike the khamsum yulley Namgyal monastery. The hike begins from the longest suspension bridge of Punakha through beautiful paddy field towards the monastery overlooking Punakha valley.

Afternoon our team will be ready to take you for River Rafting at Mo chu river where the gradient is easy. The rafting is about an hour and ends near the majestic Punakha Dzong. Evening at Hotel

Day 4Punakha to Gangtey:

Punakha to Phobjikha cycling tour of the village: The drive takes around 3 hours from Punakha to Phobjikha through the alpine forest. Upon reaching the view point you can ride the cycle toward the beautiful village of Gangtey. The view point offers a stunning view of the village home to one of the most endangered Black-necked cranes. In the afternoon walk around the village, and visit farm house where you see the daily life activity of locals. Evening at Hotel.

Day 05Phobjikha valley to Paro

Phobjikha to Paro and evening stroll at Paro town. Start early from phobjikha as the distance is long and the time taken to reach Paro from Phobjikha is 7 hours. On the way, we shall stop for fruit shopping where you get organic fruits sold by the locals around the village. Lunch will be served at Thimphu. Spend some time visiting the postal office to buy stamps. Drive to Paro and overnight at Hotel.

Day 6Paro to Haa Cycling-80Km and takes about 3 Hours.

Paro to Haa Cycling from Chelela Pass to Haa Town: Haa is a small western district recently open for tourism. You hardly see any tourists visiting this place as it is a new destination we have included in our Bhutan Tour program. The route takes you to the highest road point of chelela pass at 4800M above sea level. Your adventure tour of Bhutan starts from here as you glide in your cycle on a narrow road towards Haa valley through the alpine forest. Visit the 7th-century white temple in the evening leisure time.

Day 7Haa to Paro and start the Kili Goenpa Hike.

The next day we start the journey from the same route towards Paro but this time we hike down from chelela Pass towards Kili Goenpa Nunnery where hundreds of Nuns live and meditate day and night. The hike is one of the beautiful alpine hikes through varieties of wild flowers and rhododendrons during spring. The hike is about 2 hours easy walk. Upon reaching the temple we shall let you converse with Nuns there. They are friendly Nuns; some of them can speak fluent English, making your conversation more comfortable. Our team will be waiting at the route end. After a quick coffee drive to Paro. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 8 Paro Tiger Nest Hike:

The most incredible adventure and the most loved hike is Tiger nest Hike. 90% of tourist visiting Bhutan has hiked this very popular temple at Paro. The walk takes about 3 hours from the base camp. Temple looks just the size of a small golf ball from the base and at first, you may hesitate to hike by looking at the distant temple. Once you reach the temple the feeling you get upon completion of the trek is more significant than what you have in mind initially. There are monks living there and a head lama performing puja constantly inside the monastery. The temple lies 900m above Paro valley. If you hike further you will reach Bumdra, Bumdra trek is a 1-day trek program from Paro and is very popular among day hikers. We also organize luxury camping at the location.

In the afternoon visit only Paro Dzong and Taa Dzong. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 9Paro Valley Tour

City tour of Paro: Upon completion of the adventure tour of Bhutan we give you time for a leisure tour to visit shops, and Café and enjoy the leisure time in Paro town.

Day 10Paro to Airport and See Off

The 10 Days Bhutan Hiking Tour ends. Our team will see you off from the airport.
