Day 01Arrival at Paro International Airport and Transfer toPunakha

On arrival at Paro Airport, our guide and driver will be there for reception and drive to Punakha, the old capital of Bhutan. Enroute stop at Dochula Pass  where you can pause for sightseeing and admire the mountain valley views, along with tea and snacks at Druk Wangyal Cafe. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Fertility Temple, and take a stroll through Khuruthang Town and Kaja Throm. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Pemako.

Day 2Punakha Sightseeing

After breakfast, start your day with a visit to Punakha Dzong, exploring its intricate architecture and historical significance. Afterward, walk to the nearby Punakha Suspension Bridge for a scenic view of the valley and rivers.

In the afternoon, take a short hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgay , enjoying the peaceful surroundings and panoramic views of the Punakha valley. Relax and enjoy the serene beauty of Punakha before returning to your accommodation. Dinner and overnight at hotel Pemako.

Day 3Punakha to Thimphu Tour

Depart from Punakha early in the morning. Enroute stop at Dochula Pass for stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas. Visit the 108 chortens and take some time to explore the peaceful surroundings. On arrival, visit Buddha Dordenma for breathtaking views of the valley and the 51-meter Buddha statue. Explore the National Memorial Chorten, a significant religious monument in Thimphu. In the evening, explore the Thimphu’s local markets and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Over night at hotel Postcard Dewa.

 

Day 4Thimphu Sightseeing

Start your day by visiting  to Tashichho Dzong, a beautiful fortress that houses the offices of the King and the central monastic body.  Then visit the Folk Heritage Museum to learn about Bhutanese culture and the National Library for ancient texts followed by lunch. In the afternoon, visit National Handicraft Emporium which offers a wide range of traditional Bhutanese crafts, including textiles, woodwork, pottery, and jewelry. Later make a visit to Changyul Park and  end your day with a stop at Craft Bazaar for local handicrafts. Dinner and overnight at hotel Postcard Dewa.

Day 5Thimphu to Paro Airport Drop

After breakfast, our team will drive you  to Paro International Airport and see off.
