On your arrival at Delhi Airport you will get a warm welcome from Excursion to Himalayas Representative. He will assist you to board a domestic flight to Leh. Our representative will meet and greet you on your arrival at Leh. He will then escort you to the pre-booked hotel and will assist you in the check-in process.
Our representative will hand over all your tour related documents and will give you a brief about the tour. Spend a relaxed day in the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.
Your second day of the tour will include Visit to the monasteries Take a drive post breakfast, to pay a visit to the Shey Palace Stok Palace Museum, Hemis Monastery Thiksey and Sindhu Ghat. In the evening return back to Leh. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at Leh.
Leave for Pangong Lake post breakfast, early in the morning. You will cross the Changla Pass to reach Pangong. Post lunch enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the Pangong Lake. Appreciate its high altitude and variations in colors. Return back to Leh for an overnight stay at Leh.
After breakfast visit to Khardung La pass, which is the World’s highest motorable road at 18380 feet. Return to Leh by afternoon and enjoy a Hot Lunch at the hotel. Post Lunch visit to Gurudwara Pather Sahib, Magnetic Hill and Sangam of Zanskar and Indus River. O/N Leh.
Leave for Leh airport early morning to reach Delhi. Our representative will meet you at the time of departure. Board a flight for onward journey from Delhi Airport. Carry sweet memories of Ladakh from India to cherish throughout life.
Paro is the only international airport in Bhutan. Upon arrival at the airport our team will receive you at the airport and drive you to Thimphu. Visit Textile museam and simply Bhutan centre. This place offers you the opportunity to experience the authentic Bhutanese way of life.
Our day begins with visit to memorial chorten built in honor of 3rd King of Bhutan. The chorten is located right in middle of Thimphu city. People from all walks of life visit the place. It’s a great opportunity to interact with locals. 10 minutes drive from the chorten is largest Bhudha statue over looking thimphu valley. The view offers the amazing sights of Thimphu valley with tashichhodzong at the far distance. In the afternoon you will be left in the thimphu town for your leisure walk. Over night at Hotel.
After breakfast we’ll drive to Punakha. Stop at via Dochula Pass (3,150m) that heralds the most amazing views of Bhutan. The drive will take about 3hours and upon arrival, drive to Punakha Dzong, the “Palace of Great Happiness”Built in 1637 by Zhabdrung, the ‘Unifier of Bhutan’. The Dzong is situated at the confluence of Mo Chu and Pho Chu (Mother and Father Rivers) and it houses as the winter headquarters for His Holiness the Je Khenpo. The three storied fortress of Punakha is a glamorous example of our traditional architecture. The war materials captured during the battle with Tibetans are preserved here. In 1907 His Majesty, king Ugyen wangchuck, the first king of Bhutan was crowned here. Drive back to the hotel and dinner and overnight in the hotel at Punakha
Discover the glacial valley of Phobjikha, attend an evening prayer ceremony in Punakha, enjoy a picnic in the mountains, and hike to the popular hiking trail in the meadows of Phobjikha valley.
After breakfast, drive to Trongsa. Visit Trongsa Dzong, the most impressive dzong of Bhutan, built in its present form in 1644 by Chogyal Minjur Tempa, the official who was sent by Shabdrung to unify eastern Bhutan and enlarged at the end of the 17th century by Desi Tenzin Rabgay. Trongsa Dzong is the ancestral home of the present Royal Family and first two hereditary kings ruled Bhutan from this Dzong. Then Visit Ta Dzong, an ancient watch tower. The chapel inside the Ta Dzong is said to be dedicated to the Trongsa Penlop Jigme Namgyal. Overnight in Hotel.
After breakfast drive to the beautiful valley of Bumthang, ‘religious heart land of Bhutan’. It is the first valley to receive Buddhism in Bhutan. Many important and religious figures in the history of Buddhism have visited this place and is blessed by them.
First visit to Jakar Dzong built in the 17th century, the name Jakar was originated from the place itself. It was said that lama Nagi Wangchuk, great grandfather of Zhabdrung came to this place and was looking for a site to build his hermitage. He saw a white bird flying from the place where the Dzong stands today. So he took it as a good omen and named the place Jakar means ‘white bird’, now houses the district headquarter and more than 60 monks of Bumthang.
After good breakfast from Hotel we drive towards Wangdichholing Dzong, Built in 1900 by the father of the first king and was used as a summer residence by both the two kings. Beautiful wood work and colorful paintings, currently houses more than 30 monks.
Last visit to Tamzhing Lhakhang, built by Pema Lingpa, the only religious treasure discoverer born in Bhutan during the 15th century. He was a great artist and an architect. The paintings date back to the same time and were painted by him. After the sightseeing, drive back to the hotel and rest of the time in leisure. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

Take flight to Paro from Batpalathng airport. It takes about 25 minutes and upon arrival our team will drive you through Paro town. Visit Dungtse Lhakhang, Visit café and locals markets in Paro.
Early morning hike to tiger nest is best, as it involves uphill climb of about 3 hours. The trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags. We stop for rest light refreshments at the Taktsang Jakhang and then walk a short distance until we see, clearly and seemingly within reach, The Taktsang monastery hanging over the cliff. The primary Lhakhang was built around Guru Rimpoche’s meditation cave in 1684 by the Penlop of Paro, Gyaltse Tenzin Rabgay, this incredible monastery clings to the edge of a sheer rock cliff that plunges 900 meters into the valley below. Legend has it that Guru Padmasambhava, the tantric mystic who brought Buddhism to Bhutan in 747 AD, flew here on the back of a flying tiger, Dorji Drolo, said to be his favorite consort.
