The plane can carry only 10 to 15 people at the maximum and sometimes lower than that. You may expect cancellation of flights if the weather is not favorable. After a safe landing, we begin our trek to Phakding which takes about 3 hours of leisure walk. Upon reaching the place we tale rest and walk around the village.
Stay overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, we begin our trek through the beautiful route. On the way, you may come across many small villages and local people. This is the opportunity to interact and know the culture of the locals around the area. The trek takes about 6 hours and upon reaching the Namchi Bazar we check into the lodge and take a rest. One can explore the village and know the people around.
A historic trading hub, famous for its homemade yak cheese and butter, Namche is situated on the slope of an arch-shaped mountain, with amazing views of giant Himalayan peaks from anywhere in the valley. Despite its development, Namche Bazaar still retains its ancient culture, traditions, and heart-warming hospitality.
Tenboche is 6 hours of trekking from Namchi Bazar. It’s better to start early as we may take more than 6 hours due to the high altitude. The trail takes you through pine forests and villages. Stay overnight at the lodge.
Yet another beautiful trekking day. We can start by 10 in the morning as the trekking time is just 5 hours at the maximum. Along the way enjoy nature and take time to capture every moment of the Himalayas. Stay overnight at the lodge.
About 6–8 hours of steady climbing will bring us to the eastern summit of Lobuche Peak. Woohoo, look at that view! From the top, we are well rewarded with superb views across to Ama Dablam, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Changtse, Pumori, Gyachung Kang, Cho Oyu, and of course Mount Everest, Mother Goddess of the Earth.
Early in the morning and trek back to Gorakshep, staying overnight at the lodge.
Early in the morning for the best Everest view) and trek back to Pheriche 5 hours walking stay overnight at lodge. Getting up early and doing the ascent in the dark are highly recommended, so once you find the path at the northern end of Gorakshep, get your head down and trudge uphill! Despite being on screen, the path is well-beaten and easy to follow. Once you reach the summit of Kala Patthar, you can sit down and enjoy the view – it is quite spectacular. When you reach the summit by dawn, it is even better because the sun rises directly behind Everest and bathes you in light. After a couple of hours on the summit, descend to Gorakshep and begin your long hike back.
We begin to trek back to Tengboche. The trek is easier and if time permits we shall explore the nearby villages and spend leisure time. Stay overnight at the lodge.

The trek is not particularly long, but it is uphill and at altitude. For a standard trekker, it should take anywhere from 1.5 – 2 hours to reach the viewpoint. The top of Kala Patthar cannot be seen for some way up which adds to the mental difficulty.
