Day 01Arrival at Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok | Welcome to the Capital City of Sikkim

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, our representative from Excursion to the Himalayas will meet you and arrange a hassle-free transfer to Gangtok. You will be welcomed by the most amazing nature of the Teesta region covered with thick forest. Don’t forget to capture the picturesque views of the mighty Teesta River. Upon reaching Gangtok, check in to the hotel where the evening will be for your leisure. You can also explore the famous MG Marg to treasure some unique souvenirs and authentic cuisines. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 2Gangtok Full Day Sightseeing | Explore the Hidden Beauties

After a hearty breakfast, start your journey to explore the Tashi Viewpoint and admire the beauty of Mt.Kanchenjunga Ranges. Embrace your spiritual side as you embark on a visit to Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok. Explore the Cottage Industry and Handloom Center and get to know more about the local handicrafts. Experience the rich culture of Tibet as you visit the Institute of Tibetology based in Sikkim. Listen to the chantings and prayers of the Buddhist Monks at Dro-Dul Chorten Monastery. Day 3Gangtok Excursion Tour | Listen to the local story of Baba Mandir

After a tasty breakfast, you will leave to visit the famous Tsomgo Lake aka Changu Lake. It has an elevation of about 3,780 m, offers breathtaking scenic beauty, and is home to Brahminy Ducks and many other migratory birds, and is popular for its colour-changing phenomenon. Following this, you will visit the shrine of the famous Baba Mandir where it is believed that his spirit protects every soldier in the inhospitable high-altitude terrain of the Eastern Himalayas.

If time permits we can also visit Nathula Pass* (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) which is one of the most crucial passes at the crossroads of the India-China border (at an additional cost).

Day 4Departure from Gangtok
