Day 1Arrival in Leh

Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet Our Excursion to Himalayas representative who is waiting (with Placard where your name will be mention) to give a warm welcome, and later he will take you respectfully to your hotel, which is previously booked.

On the way to the hotel, you can enjoy the beautiful Himalayan Range and experience the lively movement of people in this region. Upon arrival at the hotel, our representative will hand over all the travel documents & discuss your tour itinerary in the hotel lobby and after that, he will help you to check-in formalities. Overnight at a hotel in Leh.

Day 2Leh – Sightseeing

Post breakfast at the hotel we will enjoy Leh sightseeing including Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Shey Palace, Hemis Monasteries, Thiksey, Stok Palace Museum & Sindh Ghat etc. Later back to hotel & overnight at hotel.

Day 3Leh – Khardong La – Leh ( 78 Km/ 3 hrs by road)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will enjoy the excursion trip to Khardong La pass which is popularly known as the gateway to some of the most enchanting & unexplored beautiful landscapes. It is the highest motorbike that attracted lots of adventure lover tourist from all over the world.

Later back to hotel & take some rest. After that, you can explore the local market for shopping on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Leh –Delhi /Departure

Post breakfast in time transfer to Leh airport to board on your homebound flight with a beautiful memory with us.

Day 5Arrival Paro

Upon arrival at Paro International airport visa stamp takes about 30 minutes to process and our team from excursion to Himalayas will receive you at the airport. On the way Guide will brief you about the tour and drive you to thimphu. Check into hotel. Evening at your leisure time.

Day 6Thimphu city Tour

A walking tour of Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, entails an enticing mix of holy shrines and temples, national museums, traditional bridges and old fortress.

Day 7Thimphu to Punakha Tour

Begin the punakha journey. It takes about 3 hours from Thimphu via popular Dochula pass where 108 stupa decorates the mountain pass. Enjoy the 360 degree view of the Himalayas from the pass. Further drive through pnewood forest you descend to beautiful Punakha valley with warm temperature. Visit Fertility temple and Punakha Dzong a fortress. Over night at Hotel.

Day 8Punakha to Phobjikha

Today we begin our day towards Phobjikha. Phobjikha is a beautiful valley with astounding scenary. It is also the breeding centre for Black Necked crane (Endangered bird species).Upon arrival visit 16th century Gangtey Monastery and hike towards your hotel. Over night at Hotel.

Day 9Phobjikha to Trongsa

After breakfast, drive to Trongsa. Visit Trongsa Dzong, the most impressive dzong of Bhutan, built in its present form in 1644 by Chogyal Minjur Tempa, the official who was sent by Shabdrung to unify eastern Bhutan and enlarged at the end of the 17th century by Desi Tenzin Rabgay. Trongsa Dzong is the ancestral home of the present Royal Family and first two hereditary kings ruled Bhutan from this Dzong. Then Visit Ta Dzong, an ancient watch tower. The chapel inside the Ta Dzong is said to be dedicated to the Trongsa Penlop Jigme Namgyal. Over night at Trongsa.

Day 10:Trongsa to Bumthang

After breakfast drive to the beautiful valley of Bumthang, ‘religious heart land of Bhutan’. It is the first valley to receive Buddhism in Bhutan. Many important and religious figures in the history of Buddhism have visited this place and is blessed by them. 

First visit to Jakar Dzong built in the 17th century, the name Jakar was originated from the place itself. It was said that lama Nagi Wangchuk, great grandfather of Zhabdrung came to this place and was looking for a site to build his hermitage. He saw a white bird flying from the place where the Dzong stands today. So he took it as a good omen and named the place Jakar means ‘white bird’, now houses the district headquarter and more than 60 monks of Bumthang. 

 

Day 11:Bumthang City Tour

Visit the Bumthang valley, Kichu Lhakhang, Burning lake followed by Jakar dzong. Over night at Hotel.

Day 12:Bumthang to paro via Domestic flight

It’s a 25 minutes flight from Batpalathnag airport to Paro International airport. Upon arrival our team will assist you with visit to Paro local vegetable market, temples and city tour. Over night at Hotel.

Day 13:Paro Tiger Nest Temple Hike

One of the most awaited hike in Bhutan is the Tiger Nest temple Hike. The temple location is so amazing that people visiting the sights are left wondering. The temple is built on a sheer rock over looking the paro valley. Its 900m above the valley that makes the sites more beautiful. Early morning hike to tiger nest is best, as it involves uphill climb of about 3 hours. The trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags.

The primary Lhakhang was built around Guru Rimpoche’s meditation cave in 1684 by the Penlop of Paro, Gyaltse Tenzin Rabgay, this incredible monastery clings to the edge of a sheer rock cliff that plunges 900 meters into the valley below. Legend has it that Guru Padmasambhava, the tantric mystic who brought Buddhism to Bhutan in 747 AD, flew here on the back of a flying tiger, Dorji Drolo, said to be his favorite consort. Afternoon we can take you for Hotstone bath and local alcohol and dinner at Paro.

Day 14:Paro to onward Journey
