Detail Tour Program for 10 Days Ladakh Bhutan Tour

Day 1Arrival at Ladakh

On arriving the Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, you will be greeted by the tour representative and will be transferred to the hotel. A complete day will be given for rest followed by welcome tea or coffee at the hotel.

Later, in the evening you will be taken for a sightseeing tour to the Leh Palace which is a former royal palace overlooking the Ladakhi Himalayan town of Leh.

Head to Shanti Stupa which is a magnificent white-domed stupa dedicated to Buddhism and Leh Market which is a Tibetan Market selling lots of small stalls selling clothes, souvenirs, artificial jewellery and more. Once done with exploring the tourist attractions, head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2Leh Excursion to Monasteries

In the morning, after having breakfast, you will be taken to the Indus Valley Monasteries which is approx 50 km from Leh.

Visit the Hemis Gompa which is the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. A visit to the Thiksey Monastery will take you to an impressive complex on a hill above the village. Shey Palace & Monastery which is the royal residence of the Ladakh monarchs. Sindhu Ghat which is a beautiful riverbank which is known for its unique and scenic landscape. Once done with visiting the tourist attractions, head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5Delhi to Paro International airport and drive to Thimphu.

Day 6Thimphu city tour

Our day begins with visit to 13th arts and craft school where tourist witness live performance from student working on the different arts and crafts. The arts and craft includes painting, carpentry, statue carving. Etc. We also visit folk heritage museam. The guide from the museam will explain about the early life of Bhutanese people. The hearitage have prayer wheel, barn and 2 storied building. In the afternoon visit the craft bazar where you get to see varieties of textile and soveniors. Dinner and over night at Hotel.

Day 7Thimphu to Punakha

After early breakfast drive to Punakha via Dochula pass. Enjoy the moment at pass followed by Fertility temple at Punakha. Dinner and over night at Hotel.

Day 8Punakha to Paro

Paro is one of the popular tourist place in Bhutan and very much popular for Tiger nest temple which is located here. Walk around the city and witness the unique life of Bhutanse locals. Over night at Hotel.

Day 9Paro Tiger Nest Hike

Pleasure moment awaits today as we begin our trekking to most sacred monastery of Bhutan, Tiger Nest Temple. It is 7th century monastery where Guru flew from Tibet and meditated here at the cave. The guide will give you the brief account of history of Paro Tiger Nest temple. In the afternoon visit farm house and enjoy the hotstone bath.

Day 10:Paro to Airport and see off
