Detail Itinerary for 7 Days Trip

Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Drive to Thimphu (1 Hour)

Arrival at Paro and our team from ETH will receive you at airport and drive you to Thimphu for sightseeing.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu, Bhutan’s vibrant capital. Visit the majestic Buddha Dordenma, offering panoramic views of the valley, followed by the sacred Memorial Chorten, where locals gather for daily prayers. Continue to Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s unique national animal, and conclude your tour at the impressive Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the King’s office and the central monastic body. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100m), where, on a clear day, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range. Continue to Punakha and visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, beautifully situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Walk across the picturesque Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest in Bhutan, and visit the sacred Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility. After sightseeing, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay in Punakha.

Travel to Gangtey to experience nature’s wonders. Only places where the rare black-necked crane is protected. there is alos center.

Drive from Gangtey to Paro. Today is long drive and we start early. Visit Kichu temple and Drugyel dzong if time permits.

Hike the Tiger Nest temple, which takes about 3.5 hours uphill walk and 2 hours downhill. Our guide will be there to help you.
