Upon your arrival at Lhasa Gonggar Airport, our guide and driver will wait for you at the airport exit and will transfer you to the hotel to check-in. After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and escort you to the Drepung Monastery. Built-in 1416, it is composed of many white buildings reclining against the hillside on a grand scale. Next, we will head for another famous temple called Sera Monastery to watch a great religious event – the furious debating over Buddhist texts. At about 3 pm, many monks wearing red robes will start the debate in an open ground. Their emphatic cadences and exaggerated body languages always attract a lot of tourists to stop by and watch. Later, a visit to Norbulingka Park will be included today for you to catch a vista of a beautiful botanical garden in Lhasa.

Today we will set out for the Potala Palace after breakfast. Upon arrival, you will be amazed at the Potala’s grandiose scale and pretty appearance. At a height of 3,767.19m (12,359.55ft), the Potala Palace mainly consists of white and red palaces and houses about seventy thousand cultural relics and a lot of rare gold, silver, and jewelry treasures for visitors’ appreciation. Afterward, we will appreciate the Rock Painting which reflects Tibetan culture. In the afternoon, we will take you to the Jokhang Temple, a Buddhist pilgrimage attracting abundant pilgrims daily. Outside the Jokhang Temple, the prosperous Barkhor Street and its nearby nunnery will be visited later.

Today, you will be escorted to the airport to catch the flight to Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, our local guide and driver will transfer you to check into the hotel and you will continue on with your Tibet Nepal Bhutan tour package.
After settling down, you will be accompanied to the distinguished Swayambhunath Stupa. Located on a mountaintop in the scenic Kathmandu valley, this stupa is also known as Monkey Temple, because about 3,000 lovely monkeys can be seen here along both sides of the stone steps to this pagoda. Later, get into the car to reach Kathmandu Durbar Square to appreciate many ancient buildings and well-decorated palaces and temples there.

In the morning, you will be guided to tour the Hindu Pashupatinath Temple and the bowl-shaped Boudhanath Stupa in succession. Today’s private Nepal tour begins with the beautiful Chandragiri Hill in the morning. Accompanied by our guide, you will board the round-trip cable car for the uphill jaunt after alighting from the vehicle. Then, the national treasure Takin, with its sheep-like head and cow-like body, can be seen when you alight from our private car at Motithang Takin Preserve.

This morning, we will head for General Post Office, and you can make a stamp with your own picture in this must-see site in Bhutan. Later, the Hand Made Paper Factory will await your visit.
After lunch, we will take a 3 hours drive to Punakha. En route, have a stopover at Dochula Pass, which provides a great platform for viewing the eastern stretches of the Himalayas. Next, we continue our car ride to the rustic Punakha Dzong (Fortress) encircled by mountains with fine surroundings. At last, pay a visit to the Wooden Suspension Bridge for sightseeing.

Situated on the 914-meter (3,000-feet) high sheer cliffs in Paro Valley, the Tiger’s Nest is composed of four halls and some residential districts, which are constructed irregularly due to the precipitous terrain, thus seeming like a giant tiger climbing on the cliff. Besides, many figures of Buddha and exquisite frescos can be seen inside the temple after trekking.
In the afternoon, after a visit to Drukgyel Dzong, our guide will drive you to experience the natural scenery of Paro Town.
