Day 1New Delhi (Arrival)

Around midnight arrival in New Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Relax at Hotel and prepare yourself for the next flight to Leh.

Day 2New Delhi - Leh (by air)

In the morning we will drive to airport for the flight to Leh and cross over the great Himalayas, the flight is a spectacle in itself. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel in Leh.

Day 3Leh City Tour (Shey, Thikse)

Today we explore the magnificent local monasteries of Shey and Thikse. Explore some of the most spectacular Tibetan Buddhist monasteries near Leh the convenient way, on this full-day tour. Shey,Thiksey, and Hemis Monasteries during your stay at Leh. Over night at Hotel.

Day 4Leh – Stok Heritage Palace

Today after having breakfast we drive to Stok from there we start our trekking tour. Today we visit the Stok Palace. Stok is a village in the Leh district of Ladakh, India. It is located in the Leh tehsil, in the Indus Valley 17 km southeast of the Leh town. Explore the 200-year old Stok Palace is an endearing landmark, historically, aesthetically, architecturally and socially. Spend your time discovering the unique palace in the Himalayas. Over night at Camp.

Day 5Stok - Zingchen - Markha

Today we start our trekking excursion from Stok Palace. Following the Markha river we head east and up to Markha monastery, well known for the traditional Buddhist paintings. We visit this monastery and have an overnight stay in Markha itself.

Day 6Markha - Nimaling - Shang

Today we start our excursion by starting from Markha Valley in the Zanskar mountain range. This northern end of Zanskar Range is also the home to the blue sheep and ibex, which can be spotted high on the valley slopes. We follow the valley and climb to shepherd huts on the Nimaling Plains (4720 M) before crossing the Kongmaru La pass (5200 M). Here we enjoy the superb mountain panorama and then move towards Shang. You have an overnight stay in Shang.

Day 7Shang - Hemis

You can afford to take it slow after the rigours of the last week. The Shang Monastery lies a kilometre away from the campsite at Shang Sumdo and can be visited. The most important monastery in entire Ladakh, Hemis is only a 2 hour trek away from Shang Sumdo. A trail goes down the Sumdo gorge to the outskirts of the small village of Martselang (3450 m). A surreal scene of substantial chortens and mani walls greets trekkers as the path meanders down to Hemis Village (3650 m).

Although the road joins the trail at Hemis Village, it is time to savour the trek and enjoy the leisurely walk to the Hemis Gompa (monastery).

The Hemis Gompa was established in the 17th century under the patronage of the famous Ladakhi ruler Sengge Namgyal; since then, this monastery has enjoyed financial support of successive royal families. The annual Hemis Festival attracts local visitors and tourists from far and beyond. Held during the full moon in June/July, it is attended by villagers, who travel from across Ladakh and Zanskar. Every 11 years, a huge thangka, one of the largest in the world, is displayed on the walls of the Hemis’ courtyard. Over night at Camp.

Day 8Hemis - Leh

Today we drive back in our vehicles towards Leh. The rest of the day at leisure upon arrival in Leh.

Day 9Leh

The whole day free for leisure to explore the local market interact with locals and shopping.

Day 10:Leh - New Delhi (by air)

In the morning transfer to the airport to board flight for New Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11:New Delhi - Agra

Today after having breakfast we will drive through a series of fields, small towns and villages in direction of Agra. In the evening arrival in Agra. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12:Agra Taj Mahal Tour

We start today our sightseeing by a visit to the Agra Fort and the most beautiful monument of India, the Taj Mahal, an enduring monument to love, with a continually fulfilling beauty.

Day 13:Agra - New Delhi (about 200 km)

In the morning after having our breakfast we drive to New Delhi. The drive is very long but beautiful one. Arrival in New Delhi in the afternoon.

Day 14:New Delhi (Departure)

Around midnight flight to home destination.
