In this Bhutan Magnificent Textile Tour, we will explore all the famous villages in Bhutan, which are famous in Bhutan Textiles. The villages like Khoma village in Lhuentse, Radhi village in Trashigang, and Khaling National Handloom Development center in Trashigang. Not only we will explore these villages but also we will experience practically how the Bhutanese women are using natural coloring and dying.

Day 1: Arrival at Paro:

Your flights to Bhutan is the most amazing flights in the Himalayas. Upon arrival, our guide will be there to welcome you with white khadhar. Drive to Thimphu and on the way visit Tamchog Lhakhang across the Paro river.

Aftre lunch visit Royal Textle museam in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing:

After an early breakfast visits the national memorial Chorten built in honor of the 3rd King of Bhutan followed by the Simply Bhutan Museum. You get the opportunity to experience the Khuru(dart game) and Archery.

After lunch visits the Largest standing Budha Statue overlooking Thimphu valley. The statue is about 54m purely made of Bronze and completed in 2006.

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha:

Start the day with a visit to simtokha Dzong the oldest Dzong in Bhutan built in 1629AD. On the way visit the Dochula pass which offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas on a clear day. Visit the Punakha Dzong. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: Punakha to Bumthang:

In Bumthang visit the local house where they make Bumthang Mathra with varieties of organic color. The textile tour of Bumthang is most amazing. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: Bumthang to Mongar: Visit the Mongar Dzong.

Day 06: Mongar to Trashigang:

This is the hub of all textile of Bhutan. Visit Khoma village and witness how the collors is added by the locals

Day 07: Trashigang Textile Tour:

Visit Radhi village for textile tour and national Handloom centre.

Day 08: Trashigang to Bumthang:

This will be a long drive and will start early. Over night at Hotel.

Day 09: Bumthang to Paro by Domestic flights. Paro sightseeing.

Day 10: Paro Tiger Nest Hike:

The day begins with 30 minutes drive to the basecamp of Tiger nest. From there we will start walking up the hill through the pinewood forest. Usually, for veterans, it just takes about 2 hours of an uphill hike but for beginners, this may prolong to 4 hours. This secret monastery is the center of all Buddhist monasteries in Bhutan. The temple clings by the rock 900m above the Paro valley. The inside of the temple is always open and monks there will guide you to the rooms where you are allowed to enter. Upon finishing the sightseeing downhill walk will just take 2 hours.

In the afternoon visit the most popular sights of Bhutan and that is Paro Dzong followed by the National Museum of Bhutan.

Day 11: Departure towards home.
